Departing from your hotel or bed and breakfast in either Naples or Sorrento, you will be transferred by a comfortable private car or minivan by a multilingual driver and head by highway for approximately 30 minutes. Arrive at the ancient Roman city of Pompeii, the biggest archaeological site in the world.
Covered by ash when Mt Vesuvio erupted in 79A.C., this UNESCO World Heritage Site is exceptionally well preserved and will give you an idea of how Roman people lived at that time. Upon arrival in Pompeii (entrance ticket not included), you will have 2 hours to stroll around the site before you catch your private transfer back to your Naples or Sorrento return point.
