Experience the essence of Samba and Carnival in Rio de Janeiro! Join our walking tour to learn about the history of samba and then enjoy a behind-the-scenes visit to a samba school warehouse.
Are you visiting Rio de Janeiro outside of Carnival season but still want to experience the essence of Samba and Carnival as Brazilians do? Then this tour is perfect for you!

You will learn about the history of samba and how this rhythm came to be by walking through the historic area of the city known as Little Africa. Some places we will visit include Largo de São Francisco da Prainha, Pedra do Sal, and Morro da Conceição.

Afterward, you will enjoy a complete behind-the-scenes experience of the production of a samba school parade. You will visit the warehouse where the floats and costumes are made and even have the opportunity to dress up in the costumes and learn samba steps with a Samba dancer!

Count on us to help you understand and immerse yourself in the history of this uniquely carioca musical genre and the festival that has earned the affectionate nickname of “The Greatest Show on Earth.”
