Let us take you on a journey through history and unique paradise of nature. Spacious forest complexes, exceptional natural beauties of lakes and waterfalls, richness of flora and fauna, mountain air, contrasts of autumn colors, forest paths and wooden bridges and much more are part of a unique whole that was declared a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site in 1979, the first in the world.

Upon arrival at the park led by our guide he will take you to buy the tickets. The boat ride and electric train that will take you around the park are included in the ticket price. By entering the park, you will be provided with a map which has all the trails and paths you will take with a guide and enjoy the beauties that nature gives us.

The Plitvice Lakes are a whole year sensation, especially when covered in snow during winter periods. They truly resemble a winter wonderland. You can relax in the shade or explore the results of the process called sedimentation of calcium carbonate and the work of special kinds of algae and moss. Tufa or travertine has continuously been deposited to form the natural dams that separate the lakes. Since the process is still going on today, just as it has always been, new travertine barriers, stalactites, channels, curtains and cascades are being built and the existing ones are changing, giving the water a sparkling beauty and enhancing the allure of the trees and stones which fall into the lakes. The water keeps breaking through the travertine barriers at different places, so that the entire process of formation of lakes and dams is alive and very dynamic. This is a unique and interesting natural phenomenon. Nature continues to impress in undisturbed ecological conditions. Besides the lakes, there are some interesting caves in which the remains of prehistoric settlements have been found. In the end, we suggest using the opportunity to taste typical local dishes from this area in a local tavern (optional). You will have some free time to take coffee or a snack and enjoy in a beautiful green oasis.

Our guide will let you know all useful information about the park and arrange the location for return. The ride back takes just a bit longer than 3 hours. The expected time of return is at 8 pm.
